#BeMayor Campaign is Taking Your Feedback for Mayor Marty Walsh!

“Community Call has put forth a great effort to challenge the public to think creatively about the many ways we can make our City better. Everyone, from the youngest children to our seniors, has a part in making Boston a great place to live, work and play. I look forward to hearing the many proposed ideas.” – Mayor Martin J. Walsh
Community Call launched a social media campaign in 2015 seeking community input on important Boston issues to provide Boston Mayor, Martin J. Walsh. Thanks to the event’s success, we are running the campaign again!
If you were Mayor of Boston, what issue would be your priority and how you would address it? Any youth or adult working or living in Boston is eligible to enter. The campaign running now and multiple entries are allowed. All constructive feedback will be summarized in a report to Mayor Walsh.
Enter your feedback on Boston issues using #BeMayor (#BeMayor1 for those under the age of 20) on twitter to @community_call or on Facebook at www.facebook.com/BeMayorBoston. A winning entry for both adults and youth will be chosen by our Youth Council. The winning submitter will be invited for a meet and greet with Mayor Walsh and one of the Mayor’s senior advisers.

Congratulations to Julie Barnes, our first #BeMayor Winner with her #BeMayor FaceBook entry. Julie’s entry was chosen from hundred of entries through FB and Twitter by members of the Mayor’s Youth Council. Julie met with Mayor Walsh and a Senior Advisor at City Hall to discuss her concern about gentrification and options for affordable housing.
